RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT THE POST-DEPLOYMENT NEEDS OF OUR GOVERNMENT'S PRIVATE MILITARY CONTRACTORS.
The Blackwater Memorial Alumni Association (BWMAA) was formed to recognize the private military contractors of Blackwater USA and Blackwater Worldwide who conducted paramilitary security operations in some of the world's most austere environments. The BWMAA supports Blackwater alumni, their immediate families, and other persons who are dealing with financial hardships by lifting the burden of the load so that these families can focus on healing mind, body, and spirit. We provide educational and financial assistance via scholarships, educational training, and other need based charitable assistance. Money raised by the BWMAA will also be will be used for medical bills, PTSD treatment, and other types of individual and family therapy. By easing the load of our injured members it allows them to focus on healing, not only as an individual, but also as a family unit.
